What is the Pre-Camp Evaluation?
1. We will give you an introduction to Bootcamp and answer any questions you may have. We will also review your medical history.

2. We will take a few simple measurements to see where you are prior to beginning camp. The actual measurements (number of inches) don't matter. We want to know how much you improve during the camp. It's strictly for a post-camp comparison. Before and after photos will be taken. These numbers and all other information will be held in the strictest confidence.

3. We will record your weight and measure your body fat percentage. Again, the numbers don't matter. We just want to be able to measure your improvement. Don't be surprised if you see a 3-8% reduction in your body fat over the four weeks! This is common.

4. You will receive your Welcome Packet.

5. See you at camp!

What do I need to bring to camp?
You will need to bring hand weights, beginners (if you never done weights or worked with light weights in the past bring 3, 5 and 8 pound hand weights. If you have worked with weights in the past bring 5, 8 and 10 pound hand weight), an exercise ball, floor mat, water and a bath size or beach size towel. Ball size ranges according to height as follows: 5’3” and under-55cm, 5’4” to 6’1”-65cm, 6’2”-6’9”-75cm. (make sure it is blown up to its full size. You shouldn’t be able to wrap your arms around the ball and touch your fingers) We recommend the Harbinger Exercise Mat non-slip surface/double sided. Do not bring a yoga mat. Big 5 has the best prices we have found. We suggest you dress in layers and wear gloves and a hat. You can always remove clothes as you get warm.
Running Shoes:
It is mandatory that you have new or less than 3 months old running/cross training shoes for class. You will NOT be allowed to workout without adequate shoes. Ask us about the best place to get shoes at a discount.

What is a typical day like at camp?
The only thing that is the same each day is that we do cardiovascular training and resistance training. Each day is different so that you and your muscles are kept guessing. You can expect some running if you are a runner, fast walking if not, weight training, obstacle courses, and core/stability training. It's always an , and you'll always have fun! Along with all of the above, we emphasize and teach you a great deal about proper form so you will enjoy a unique fitness experience.

What kinds of people go to camp?

There is no one specific person that joins our bootcamps. All fitness levels are encouraged to participate. We have advanced levels, intermediate and beginners. All we ask is that each person progress at the pace that is best for them.

What if it rains?
Unless it is a state of emergency, classes will be held rain or shine at the scheduled times and locations.

What if I sign up for the three day plan and then want to do all more days of the camp?
After starting camp, many women realize how fun and convenient it is so they request to sign up for more days. In addition, they realize that the more days they attend camp the greater the results. In these situations, you will simply be pro-rated from the point you decide to join us for more days.

Will I be sore sometimes?
Most people feel some soreness for the first 2-3 days. Much depends on your personal conditioning level and how hard you work during camp. Some soreness is an indicator that you are building muscle and getting stronger!

What will I do after camp is over?
You can get re-measured and tested to show your progress and success in the program. Many (up to 80%) of the campers return.

Is there a refund policy?
If you are unable to attend camp due to circumstances out of your control, we can offer you a refund if you notify us prior to your session start date. However, we will charge a $50.00 cancellation fee. If we are notified after your session begins, we can only give you a credit towards another boot camp. This credit is nontransferable. There is no cash refund. This is not negotiable.
